- No Cost to the Company - All Colonial plans are 100% employee-paid. Plus, Dental, Vision, Accident and Cancer are pre-taxed, so it lowers the company's FICA match. The company saves money – 7.65% of the pre-tax payroll deductions. For example, if there are $200/week in deductions or $10k/year, the company would save $765. We just need a payroll slot and pay the invoice at the end of the month after you have collected all the payroll deductions. Your AP person just marks off any terms.
- Expanded Benefits - Our Dental coverage and network are outstanding. It could be a competitive advantage for your company in recruiting...certainly, it will not hurt. $5,000 for each covered person per year and root canals covered at 90%. Two free Cleaning. Plus, Short-term disability (pregnancy is #1 claim), Accident (on and off the job coverage + children are covered in sports/gymnastics), Term and Whole life that an employee can take with them at the same rate (a rate they can get only because they work at your restaurant), Cancer plan ($10k initial diagnosis payment and $100 if they get their physical) and Critical Illness.
- Free Telemedicine for 1 year - We will give your employee free telemedicine for their entire family if they meet with us. Note: we must meet with a minimum of 75% of the employees, as it is a costly incentive Colonial pays for us to see people
- Benefit Education with Benefit Counselors - Our Team will sit down with each employee and explain their options. Usually, it takes 10 minutes or so. We will promote your company and what they are doing for your employees. We have seen where this carries more weight coming from a 3rd party who does this every day.
- Free Benefits Administration System - Colonial will provide your company with a free ben admin system with feeds to most payroll systems. Your team will have access to it to see a specific employee's enrollments. Payroll deductions will feed most payroll systems (the Open Enrollment payroll deductions may need to be imported - we provide the Excel file.) Once our Benefits Counselor enrolls the employee, the deductions can automatically feed most payroll systems.
- Claims Support - What makes Colonial different is that we have a team to support your employees. We will help them file claims and get paid.. Heaven forbid if an employee gets in an accident or is diagnosed with cancer, you will have given them the chance to have coverage.
